A little bit Max
Only one more day till finally we get to see “Where the Wild Things Are” in Australia and the wait has been killing me. To keep the obsession strong Ive made a Maxish print
Im reading the Dave Eggers book, which I had to buy just for the pretty cover
I visit here often, I especially love this work from Nate Wragg, it really captures the magic of it all
and then I watch the trailer again

and play the song quite loud to finish off

I love my maxish girl. So does Lily, who has a Sendak Max picture on her wall too. Happy Max day for tomorrow!

The movie was lovely, I want to re-read the original now though.

Oh, I was trying to come up with something with a hint of max to it to wear too! I went with roughly the outfit from this print, but with a big cream cardy with a hood and no crown : )

It probably is a bit too scary for kids, shame though because there are some bits they would really enjoy.
