Hello
It seems I have a “need” to constantly browse Japanese clothing, I just recently was put back to dial up speed and I think I actually had withdrawals when I couldnt do this at least once a day*L*
Here are the things that are catching my eye just now
Balcony and Bed are always beautiful, but this wonderful Liberty print is killing me
This very sensible looking, for me at least, bag from Beaure, it even has a matching wallet
Mother too always has things that I drool over, but these cute little socks and this top are my current favourites
oh and this top as well, I love the gentle fall of it and the subtle writing, rather beautiful
and just a little bit of circus fun from Franche Lippee as well
Ive decided the only thing I can have from all this loveliness is the sensible bag, there are times in life when you just need a bag that isnt shaped like an animal or covered in eye catching pattern! Maybe if I make some things to sell I can justify one more thing………………..
PS if you are looking for any of these brands, try out Rakuten in English translation mode, many of the shops now ship international.

Hello
Paul and I spent last weekend making raised vegetable beds for our upcoming kitchen garden, for some reason we are wildly excited about this and it spilled over into the every day
Look at our toilet for instance
I left it as a surprise for Paul to find, then I just got silly
Grumpy Toilet
and Sad Toilet
We had paid a trip to Bunnings for supplies and while Paul was working on the garden beds, I was doing more important things
with that done I went to help with the hard work, it really was hard, blisters, sore backs, but very satisfying to see a very long term dream coming together at last, now for the dirt and the plants!
Our first bed
all three
Oh and if you are in Australia and always wanted to grow your own vegetables I can’t recommend the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden book enough, so full of helpful tips and with recipes to boot!
Next stop, chickens!

Hello
Ive been sitting on these cloth “dolls” for what seems like ages, something unpleasant occurred, then something pleasant in the shape of a holiday and now finally they are up for sale in the Etsy store.
Introducing “Five Little Girls”
There are five dolls in a drawstring bag, with one special guest, I put him in a mask in these photos for a “disguise”, but its just drawn on to keep you in suspense*L* They were printed using my laser printer on to fabric, then cut out, laboriously machine sewn (it has made me a much faster sewer!) and stuffed. They have no real practical purpose but can hang any old place around your home, or maybe make a Christmas appearance on the tree? Im sure the bag could be handy for something too.
All the details are at the store, sorry about the horrible shipping price for overseas people, its the problem with living so far away in Australia, I tried to make it as reasonable as possible though.
Here they all are:
plus one mystery chap
Thanks and bye
Christina
